VOTIVE CANDLES
Votive candles are available for a $3.00 donation. Envelopes are available at the church entrances. Please place them in the basket near the image of the Holy Family. The burning candle is a symbol of our desire to keep a prayerful vigil in the Lord's presence. The burning candle can also be a symbol of our novena intentions.
PRAYER INTENTION BOOK
You may write your novena intentions in the binder that is available at the rear 6th Avenue entrance. The binder will be carried to the altar during each liturgy.
EUCHARISTIC DAY OF PRAYER
Sunday, April 6, the seventh day of our novena will be a Eucharistic Day of Prayer. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed from after the noon Mass until Vespers and Benediction at 5:30 p.m. The Novena Prayer will be said during Vespers at 5:30 p.m. as well as during the morning Masses.
Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament is a wonderful way to honor the sacramental presence of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Exposition is intended to acknowledge Christ's marvelous presence in the sacrament. Exposition invites us to the spiritual union with Him that culminates in sacramental communion. Thus it fosters very well the worship, which is due Christ in spirit and in truth
MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS
The monetary collection at each evening Mass of the novena will help defray the costs of musicians, printings, advertisements, etc. Gratitude is extended to you for your generosity.
ANNOINTING OF THE SICKThe Sacrament of the Sick will be celebrated during the 11:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Masses on the second day of our novena, Tuesday, March 16th. Participants who would like to be anointed are asked to sit in the seats designated for that purpose.
